At Copmanthorpe Childcare Centre, we provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe in delivering high-quality, child-led care that supports early development from infancy through to preschool.
We take immense pride in our welcoming village community and our dedicated team. We are now looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, and caring Early Years Educator to join our expanding team and help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youngest learners every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Quality Care: Deliver exceptional early years education and care tailored to specific age groups, from babies (3+ months) up to preschool age (5 years).
- Learning Support: Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through creative play and structured learning experiences aligned with the EYFS.
- Routine Organisation: Confidently organise and manage daily routines for various age groups, including feeding, changing, activity planning, alongside school-readiness activities for older children.
- Progress Tracking: Plan, track, and evaluate children's progress, setting individual learning targets and keeping accurate records through our online platform Tapestry.
- Partnerships: Maintain fantastic, positive relationships with parents and carers to provide updates and positive feedback on their child's development and well-being.
- Safeguarding: Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of all children at all times, adhering strictly to health and safety policies.
We are seeking
- A qualified member of staff with a F&R level 2 or 3.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an early years, nursery, or childcare setting (preferred).
- A kind, caring, energetic, and flexible individual who loves working as part of a dynamic team
- With excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for role-modeling positive behaviour.
- A clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or a willingness to obtain one).
